About Natalie Asher

Managing Partner, Daybreak Advisory

Natalie Asher is the Managing Partner of Daybreak Advisory, an independent M&A advisory firm focused on ownership transitions and capital events for founder and family-owned middle market businesses. With nearly two decades of experience across investment banking, private equity, and strategic advisory work, she brings a rare combination of financial discipline, operational understanding, and leadership insight to moments where clarity matters most.

Her expertise spans situations such as evaluating a potential sale or recapitalization, preparing for an ESOP or internal buyout, assessing unsolicited offers, navigating founder transitions, and supporting new leadership teams as they define the company’s next chapter. She has advised more than 50 companies ranging from founder-led organizations to established middle-market businesses with revenues from $15M to $500M+, representing more than $2 billion in combined revenue and over $1B in transaction value.

Executives value Natalie’s ability to simplify complexity, structure decision-making, and align leadership around a clear direction. Her approach blends analytical rigor with a grounded, steady presence — helping leaders make confident decisions without overwhelm and pressure.

Before founding Daybreak, Natalie held senior roles supporting M&A execution and strategic advisory across multiple industries, with particular depth in the Built Environment, Professional Services, and Healthcare Services. She is known for bringing clarity to ambiguous situations, neutrality to emotionally weighted conversations, and structure to critical decisions that shape the future of a company.
