About Daybreak
Daybreak Advisory is an independent M&A advisory firm focused on ownership transitions and capital events for founder and family-owned middle market businesses.
We combine the process discipline and buyer access of institutional investment banking with the focus and direct senior execution of a founder-led firm. Most engagements begin before a formal transaction process — working with owners and leadership teams to clarify objectives, evaluate alternatives, and determine the right path forward. When a transaction is the right answer, we lead it through close.
Our clients are typically founder-owned or family-held businesses with $10 million to $100 million in enterprise value across professional services, business services, tech-enabled services, technical and engineering services, and specialized B2B service providers.
What Sets Daybreak Apart
Full-Lifecycle Accountability
One senior advisor from initial decision through transaction execution — not a relay team where senior people disappear after the pitch.
Alignment Under Pressure
We ensure stakeholders stay aligned as complexity increases and decisions become harder. The work done before a process launches directly improves what happens during it.
Judgment Without Agenda
We maintain a disciplined perspective on timing, readiness, and structure. Not every situation calls for a transaction, and not every transaction should launch today.
Execution That Reflects Intent
Transactions are structured and negotiated based on what matters to the client — not optimized for speed or fee generation.
