A Life Well Lived Program

Discover the values, vision, and rituals to create fulfillment, sustainability, and cohesion within your personal and professional lives.

A life well lived. Across different creeds, cultures, and generations, isn’t that what we’re all seeking? To be able to look back on our lives and say that we spent our precious time on what truly matters to us. It’s a simple concept in theory, yet difficult and elusive in reality. The toll of professional commitments and striving to keep up with everything can feel like life is happening to you instead of being intentionally designed by you.

After years of accepting constant striving and burnout as the price of success, I developed a framework that prioritizes the most important aspects of life while still contributing at a high level to professional obligations.

This approach has proven essential for myself and many of the women I work with. We strive for professional success but need it to coexist with healthy boundaries and a mindset that allows for rich personal lives to thrive. We have always produced incredible results, though often at great personal expense. And ironically, a growing body of research has shown that the ability to focus on satisfying personal needs also improves productivity and performance in one’s professional life. What more could you achieve if you embraced a new way of living that balances both?

And yet…

Many accomplished women find themselves stuck in the belief that success comes at the expense of personal well-being, but it doesn’t have to. Many women, myself included, have had ingrained in us a mindset of working harder to make gains. And while that can appear successful, it’s not sustainable. There’s a better way that doesn't involve merely piling more onto an already full schedule. Instead, I advocate for redefining success to include healthy boundaries and a life where personal aspirations and professional responsibilities enrich each other, not compete. You deserve a way of life that gives you space to invest in yourself and the things you enjoy. One that rewards your work ethic by rewiring your habits to make the most of your time and energy.

The other challenge I often see is that many women are so exhausted and overwhelmed they can’t envision how to begin even if they want to. While the first step is always the hardest, it’s more than that.

How do you re-work deeply ingrained ways of thinking and showing up in life? And how do you implement those changes in a way that meets you where you are and still makes progress?

It’s a tall order, no doubt, and it’s why most people never take that first step. But if the path is laid out for you in manageable steps that you can commit to even on your worst days, you will make progress. And in a few months you’ll be amazed at your success and wonder why you didn’t take these steps sooner.

FAQ

    • The program is designed as a series of one-on-one coaching sessions and an accompanying journal with writing prompts that correspond to each of the areas explored in the program.

    • Each coaching session is about one hour long, along with some homework each week. In total, there are about three hours of work you’ll need to commit to each week.

    • For the best results, we will go through just one lesson each week. This approach allows you the necessary time and environment to deeply reflect and respond to each lesson and make any adjustments that arise throughout the week.

  • The “A Life Well Lived” program will benefit you if:

    • You have been traditionally successful in your professional life but are fighting burnout and need a sustainable way forward.

    • You have a growing discontent, and even resentment, about how your professional life has overtaken your personal needs.

    • You find yourself saying, “This is it? There has to be a better way.”

    • You long for your own rich identity beyond your profession.

    • You realize that rest can’t be something you do when you’re done with everything else, because you will never be done with everything else. You are seeking truly restorative activities to replace mindless scrolling and binge watching.

    • You know you’re capable of creating a better life for yourself and your family but you’re exhausted and don’t know how to take that first step.

    • If you’re looking for a quick fix, this isn’t it. The program lays the foundation for lasting success but you have to be willing to commit to investing in yourself and have an open mindset.

    • If you’re not open to experimenting with different approaches to see what works best for you, this is likewise not going to be the right solution. Like most worthwhile things in life, you will likely need to do some experimenting to personalize things for your specific needs and goals.

  • The program is a one-time $2,000.00 (USD) payment.

  • No. Everything you need for the program is included in the price. That being said, I will offer recommendations if you want to dive deeper into a specific area. Some of those resources are free and some (e.g., books) you can rent for free or purchase, depending on your preference.

  • Because the entire content of the program journal is available to you upon purchase, there are no refunds. You will also be far more successful in completing and implementing these strategies if you are committed to doing the work, so you should only purchase the program once you are fully ready.

Too good to be true?

If that’s how you’re feeling, I believe your skepticism. It’s normal to doubt yet another solution when many have failed. It’s also a convenient excuse to keep things as they are because at least it’s the devil you know.

This is exactly how I felt until my health took such a toll that I had to find a new way. My need for change was just barely greater than my skepticism and fear. As I put these rituals into practice and started to see change, I felt confident in trying more new approaches that eventually became the basis for “A Life Well Lived.”

To be clear, this approach is not a panacea and it’s not a quick fix, but it does produce incredible results. It’s a comprehensive approach tailored to fit your unique needs and pace so that you can successfully commit to the changes you want. Perhaps most importantly, the tenets of this program will grow with you, adapting as your life evolves.
